This is what politicians do. This is what they are good at. Creating confusion, tension, chaos and uncertainty (globally).
The market was behaving very well technically until Donald Trump decided to make an impulsive executive decision without thinking of the consequences and without consulting the right people. He made a rookie mistake. He is going to have to learn very fast that actions often result in counteractions whether it be from the stock market, the public or other nations. It is unnecessary to ignite geopolitical crises because they are easily avoidable. He must make significant decisions known to the public ahead of time in order to get public opinion and the best way to approach such matters so that even those who disagree with him can understand his action and also be ready for it. The market doesn't like surprises and uncertainties just like the public doesn't. I know there will never be 100% acceptance of anything he does, but folks will understand if he takes his case to the public first. The court of public opinion is very vital. He can't act impulsively without thinking of the national and international ramifications. Campaigning is different from governing. He will have to learn that very fast for his own good and for the good of the nation. If he lets arrogance and impulsivity stand in the way of good governance America is in big trouble.
